30 Days and 30 Nights: Improvement Experience.

Personnal, 30 Days Add comments

Allright, let’s face it, I need a challenge lately. The grey winter’s got me down… love left me… I’m rather confused as to what my goals are. SO, after reading one of my favorite blog (which i’ll definately add to my blog roll), I decided to challenge myself to a:

30 Days and 30 Nights

Daily challenges

  • Write a blog post and maintain this website
  • Call someone I know, just to talk.
  • Bring lunch to work (as much as possible)
  • Clean up my environement (work/house) etc.
  • Read / Write 1 hour per day
  • Wake up at 7 am (compared to my late 8 am)

The weekly challenges

  • Write 3 articles
  • Take 5 pictures and post them
  • Go to the Gym 3 times a week and work out fully
  • Sell one thing on eBay
  • Learn & Post a reciepe
  • Post a Vlog
  • Go on dates (and not only for sexual purpose)
  • Write weekly update

And the really … REALLY hardcore stuff:

  • Give up the TV. (This doesn’t includes movies or video games… as I am not a monk!)
  • Not open my MySpace
  • No Sex Life

<--- I'd doubt i'll be able to pull it off.

And, I am going to try this as of February 12th 2007 ’till March 13 2007.

I have yet to think of a reward for myself, I think the experience itself will be a reward… Got any suggestion?

Really good idea. But I would suggest to concentrate on fewer challenges so I could acheive them fully. Achieving only one thing successfully is so fulfilling compared to just ‘having tried’ many things… But, on the other side, you may have the right balance within these challenges; doing the new stuff could actually help you ‘not doing’ and not thinking about the stuff you want to give up… and this may be the key!

Well, I guess we’ll find out here on your blog :)

I was going to write ‘good luck’ but realized there’s no luck at all in that game; it’s all work, work and work!! so… keep on !!! :)
