Oh yeah! I’m finally off medication! SWWW-UHeeet.
I’ve had quite a weird week-end. It went as followed:
- Made plans.
- Got choked.
- Tried to fix some plans.
- Nothing worked.
- Went out with reliable people
… and I had a blast! God, I love swing and dancing my ass off! It made me feel much better. I’m probably going to write a new article… as soon as I find the strenght to at least finish my course… *sigh*

What are those swing bands you go see play live?
When there’s no good prog rock band playing downtown it might be sweet to swing my ass ’round…

Actually, most of the bands I see live are quite “meh”. Most of them are local jazz/blues bands. It’s really not the best when you’re starting (or just dancing for that matter). But they Dj’s some swing everynow and then before and at the band’s break.
Also, there’s a free course before each nights. You have the Friday nights at the Cat’s corner (which is all ages because it’s a juice “bar”) and that’s… 7 $ I think. And you have the Studio 88 Swing (Jazz hot) where I take my classes. That’s saturday night. It’s 8 $ for the class (if you get there before 9 I think) and 12 $ if you get there after.

Well, I suppose I forgot the fact that… I don’t know how to dance ! And I guess they don’t let in geeky white dudes not wearing the correct suit. Right ? … lol
Well maybe it could be nice to at least watch and then if I get drunk enough… God only knows what I would be up to. Just let me know next time you go see a band.
